The defending champions from Denmark have once again secured a spot in the final of the European Mixed Team Championships. They did so by defeating Germany 3-0 in the semifinal.

Line Christophersen got Denmark off to a strong start, giving them a 1-0 lead with a 21-11 21-9 victory over Miranda Wilson. Wilson had played an impressive tournament, winning her women’s singles matches against both the Netherlands and Czechia, but against Christophersen, she had to concede defeat.

In the second match, Rasmus Gemke faced Matthias Kicklitz. The first set was relatively close, but Gemke remained in control for most of the game. He secured the win with a 21-18 21-11 victory.

The third match featured the women's doubles, where the Danes once again proved stronger. The newly formed Danish pair of Natasja P. Anthonisen and Maiken Fruergaard defeated Franziska Volkmann and Leona Michalski 21-11 21-14. With this win, Denmark secured their place in the final without the need for the last two matches to be played.

A big congratulations to Germany for winning the bronze medal after an impressive tournament.

At 12 PM CET, England and France will face off in the second semifinal to determine who will challenge Denmark in tomorrow’s final.
