Day 2 of the EJC24 delivered thrilling matches as the Round of 64 concluded across all categories, setting the stage for the fierce competition ahead in the Round of 32.

Mixed Doubles:
Top seeds Tom Lalot Trescarte/Elsa Jacob (FRA) continued their commanding form, dispatching Estonia’s Talts/Lepp in straight sets (21-9, 21-12).

Men’s Singles:
Germany’s Luis Pongratz, seeded fourth, showcased his dominance against Switzerland’s Arnaud Boschung (21-11, 21-11). Belgium’s Raphael Maho pulled off a major upset, eliminating England’s Dillon Chong in a nail-biting contest (25-23, 21-18). With favorites advancing and underdogs rising, this category promises unmissable matchups ahead.

Women’s Singles:
The day saw steady performances from the top players, including the Czech Republic’s Lucie Krulová, who advanced with ease. However, an upset came when Scotland’s Vibha Raman took down Germany’s Constanze Winnefeld in an impressive display (21-19, 21-14).
