The Hungarian International kicks off

The European Circuit continues in Budapest, Hungary this week with the 49th VICTOR FZ FORZA Hungarian International Championships. The International Series tournament runs from Wednesday 30 October to Sunday 2 November.

Home favourites are ready to compete, with Vivien Sandorhazi leading as the top seed in women’s singles and also participating in mixed doubles with Miklos Kis-Kasza. Gergo Pytel will also be there to fight on home turf, seeded eighth in men’s singles.

Key international players include Serbia’s top-seeded mixed doubles pair Mihajlo Tomic/ Andjela Vitman, France’s Sharon Bauer/ Emilie Vercelot, second seeds in women’s doubles, and England’s Oliver Butler/ Samuel Jones, topping the men’s doubles seeds entries.

  • Wednesday, 30 October: Qualifications (1st and 2nd round) from 9 AM
  • Thursday, 31 October: Qualifications (3rd round) from 9 AM, Main draw (1st round) not before 11 PM
  • Friday, 1 November: Round of 16 from 10 AM to 3 PM, Quarterfinals from 4 PM to 8 PM
  • Saturday, 2 November: Semifinals from 10 AM to 2 PM, Finals from 4 PM to 8 PM
