After a fleeting summer break and a few months to reflect on the inputs obtained during the first week,  it is time for the ADVANCERS to go back to business, bringing new energy and perspective as they continue their journey.

The 16 coaches were ready to face another five days of stepping outside their comfort zones. They tackled a range of educational challenges that push the boundaries of traditional learning, encouraging innovation and growth.

“I feel like I have made significant progress in my coaching this week, in particular technically and tactically. I have felt challenged and at times stressed about the learning and development, but with the support of the tutors and group improvements have been made. Looking forward to implementing and reflecting in the coming months,” shared one of the coaches.

Another coach emphasised this perspective, stating, “I learned so much and got a chance to ask things face to face, so I’m extremely happy for the opportunity to be part of this program”.

Led by Jacob Oehlenschlaeger, Kenneth Larsen, and Jeroen van Dijk, the week’s agenda was packed with valuable content. Topics such as learning theories, coaching philosophies, and entrepreneurship were explored in-depth, alongside sessions focused on the technical and tactical aspects of the game. This well-rounded approach ensured a comprehensive learning experience for everyone involved.

Even though the week has concluded, the journey is far from over. With mentoring sessions and additional work on the horizon, the coaches are only halfway through their transformative process. The next gathering is set for January 2024, where the ADVANCERS will continue to build on the foundations laid so far.
