Only three days to go for the spectacular European mixed team championships. The best eight teams have qualified for this event in Copenhagen and cannot wait to start. Today we are looking forward with Robin Tabeling from the Netherlands.

The Netherlands is placed in group 1, together with the first seeded team Denmark, France and Spain. Their first match will be against Spain, followed by Denmark and lastly France.

- As a team, we will not be satisfied with nothing less than a medal, Tabeling stated to Badminton Europe.

- We know we have a good chance, which creates a great motivation to bring a medal home after a long period of time. The match against France will be the absolute one to look out for.

Lots of opportunities

Besides Robin Tabeling, you will see Mark Caljouw, Jelle Maas, Jacco Arends, Ruben Jille and Joran Kweekel in the Frederiksberg Hall.

The female players reperesenting The Netherlands are Selena Piek, Cheryl Seinen, Gayle Mahulette, Deborah Jille and Alyssa Tirtosentono.

- There are also lots of good matches on the program individually. We have many possibilities with this team that is much on the same level and can support each other very well, Tabeling continues.

- I will do everything to give my contribution to the results of our team. Both on and off court!
