It is the goal of Badminton Europe to have Shuttle Time running in twenty countries by 2016. An important step in this process is the education of Trainers and Tutors. These Trainers and tutors are, if they pass the course, allowed to give teacher courses in their country.

With the help of the Italian Badminton Federation the Third BEC BWF Shuttle Time Trainers' / Tutors' course was held on 24 and 25 May in Milan, Italy in the Palabadminton hall. The ten participants from six different Member Associations started the course early Friday morning. After a short introduction in the classroom, the participants went to the badminton hall where they spent most of their day getting practical and theoretical lessons. The focus on this day was to get used to the resources and on how to be a tutor or Trainer.

The second day started in the badminton hall and the participants were mainly working in groups to train how to be a tutor. They were more used to the fact that they had to change their role almost all the time and they were better able to use the resources. The course ended in the class room with the presentations from the participants on how they will run a course.

Badminton Europe would like to thank the Italian Badminton Federation, Jo Hughes and the participants to make this course possible.
