The 2013 FZ Forza Slovenia International (5.000 US Dollars) came to an end on Sunday with having champions coming from five different countries.

Misbun Mohmed Misbun, son of the legendary Misbun Sidek, justified his top seeding and easily won the tournament in Medvode. Malaysia’s young player  maintained his supremacy and wrapped up the men’s singles title after defeating France’s Lucas Corvee 21-11, 21-12. The in-form Misbun did not lose even a single game in all of his matches and he also continued his unbeaten run in the final where he tamed his French rival in a convincing manner.

Ukraine’s in-form shuttler Marija Ulitina (pictured at the prize giving ceremony) showed a strong performance and claimed the women’s singles title after crushing Denmark’s Lene Clausen in the final battle. Ulitina, the number 3 seed, won the women's singles final in straigtht games against the Danish youngster 21-11, 21-12 in just 25 minutes.

In the women's doubles, the young Dutch combination of Alida Chen and Soraya de Visch Eijbergen surprised the more experienced Ukrainians Natalya Voytsekh and Yelyzaveta Zharko in three games 11-21, 21-14, 21-14 to take their first title on the senior's tour.

The men's doubles final was probably the most exciting match on the finals day in Slovenia. The Russian duo of Nikita Khakimov and Vasily Kuznetsov won in two tight games (21:19, 21:16) against the top seeded English duo of Christopher Coles and Matthew Nottingham.

In mixed doubles category, Zvonimir Durkinjak and Staša Poznanovic of Croatia found a good start into the new Circuit season by beating German players Jones Rafli Jansen and Cisita Joity Jansen 21:12, 21:18 to take the mixed doubles crown in Medvode.
