The week all European players and fans alike have been waiting for is finally here. Nations from around the continent will be gathering in the Carolina Marín Sports Centre from Tuesday 24 - Sunday 29 April to compete for the coveted title of European Champion.

The action kicks off at 11am tomorrow morning in Huelva, the hometown of local legend, and reigning European Women’s Singles champion Carolina Marín - who’s looking to win her fourth consecutive title! 

First up on court tomorrow includes the likes of Sweden’s Jacob Nilsson in the Men’s Singles against Germany’s Kai Schaefer! 

I have been looking forward to the Europeans since I got selected and the practice leading up to the event has gone well. Hopefully I can beat Kai for the first time tomorrow – says Jacob Nilsson

Also in action tomorrow will include England’s reigning Mixed Doubles champions – Chris and Gabby Adcock. They will be defending their title in a first-round match against Polish duo Pawel Smilowski and Magdalenda Swierczynska. Denmark’s Viktor Axelsen is also back with a vengeance after having to withdraw from last year’s Championships due to injury? Can he deny England’s Rajiv Ouseph the chance of defending his Men’s Singles crown from 2017?
