England and Germany ready for semi-finals

The two big nations are ready for the European Men’s Team Championships semi-final on Saturday after beating Poland and Czech Rep.

England faced Poland in their quarter-final, and after winning the first men’s singles, first men’s doubles and second men’s singles they secured a spot between the last four. Last winning man was social media star Sam Parsons.

- There was a little pressure on me before the match, so it feels good to win. I know I can out run most players, and that was what happen, Parsons says.

3-1 for Germany
Germany took a 3-1 victory against Czech Republic, which was qualified to the quarter-finals for the first time ever.

Marc Zwiebler, Kai Schäfer and the men’s doubles Jones Ralfy Jansen/Josche Zurwonne won their matches for Germany, while Jan Louda won his for Czech Rep.

The semi-finals at the 2018 European Men’s & Women’s Championships:

10.00 (CET): Denmark – Russia (Women)

12.00 (CET): Germany - Spain (Women) 

12.00 (CET): France – England (Men)

14.00 (CET): Denmark – Germany (Men)
