The Circuit of Badminton Europe has arrived to its usual „All-Saints-day-stage” to Budapest, the capital of Hungary. Although the weather seems to be not the same sunny autumn season we had last year - but the Hungarian organizers can welcome the same numbers of shuttlers like a year before.

213 athletes from 34 nations are ready to show their skills to the (badminton) world. The 2012 Yonex Hungarian International starts today, the 1st of November. Also this the 3rd edition of the International Series event (5.000 US Dollars) is held in the new and fascinating Budaors sports hall.

On Thursday, the qualification rounds will see mostly promising youngsters who are eager to qualify for the main stages starting on Friday. Especially Europe's badminton giant Denmark sent a good and big squad of 36 players but there will be shuttlers from overseas as well (like Malaysia, Indonesia, New Zealand, United States and India).

Russian Vladimir Malkov and Austrian David Obernosterer are the 1st and 2nd seeded players in the men's singles event while Belarus Zaitsava and Denmark's Anne Hald grabbed the top seedings in the women's singles category.
