The 2nd Multi Alarm Hungarian Junior International Championships start on Thursday. It seems like yesterday that we have organized the 1st Hungarian Junior Intl. Championships last year. It’s already springtime again and we are ready to start with our next Hungarian Open.

161 young badminton players out of 18 countries gather in the tiny, historic Hungarian city called Pécs, in order to show their skills – and – of course to collect further points for their Badminton Europe ranking places. Although it is only the 2nd Junior Champs in Hungary, the event has got the „B”level – thanks to the very strong entries of the 1st issue of this tournament.

If we just have a look at the recent entries we can agree that the level of the tournament will be even much higher than it was last year.  Korea, India, Turkey France and Denmark have sent shuttlers in great strength, especially the Korean team seems to be very strong.

But there will be a lot of promising players from the other participating countries like Austria, Belarus, Bulgaria, Croatia, Czech, England, Netherlands, Philippines, Slovakia, Slovenia, Serbia, Ukraine - the host nation, Hungary is also ready to fight for the medals.

All the actions of the 2nd Hungarian Junior Open can be followed on the internet if You visit the Hungarian Association’s or the Multi Alarm’s website:
