Badminton Europe is happy to welcome the new Certificated Training Centre(CTC) in Milan to Badminton Europe´s training centre-programme.

This centre is already offering training for top class players like the local, Indra Bagus Ade Chendra (WR 73), and Beatriz Corrales from Spain (WR 31).

Added to great facilities such as a restaurant, a physio room, an anti-doping room and a gym, this centre offers to the players the opportunity to train three times a day, from Monday to Saturday.

“Badminton Europe is very happy that the training centre in Milan is joining the 10 other Certificated Training Centres. We are now in a position where we are able to give European players different high quality training options. I hope, personally, that we will create an open cooperation between the BEC Centre of Excellence and the 11 Certificated Training Centres“, says Jeroen van Dijk Manager at Badminton Europe.

Badminton Europe awards scholarships to players to enable them to train at one of the nine Certificated Training Centres for a period of at least 2 weeks.
