Badminton Europe’s manager app-game, Badminton Manager, has reached 1,250 subscribers with the new second edition.

Having only been available for free download since October 15, today is the last chance to set up a team for the first round in Badminton Manager.

It will still be possible to download the app and join the game, but after 9 pm CET tonight, it won’t be possible to be included in Round 1, which includes the Superseries French Open and the challenge Hungarian International.

The teams will be ‘locked’ until the round ends, and then by Monday they will already be open and ready for the badminton managers to make their adjustments.

A badminton manager can benefit by checking the draws of the tournaments included in the rounds. If a player on your team is not playing either of the tournaments, then he or she will not earn any points.

For example, one might be interested in swapping the reigning Olympic champion Carolina Marin who would ,normally, be a sure bet, sent her apologies yesterday.

Home favourite, Brice Leverdez, who beat Lee Chong Wei last week at Denmark Open, also withdrew yesterday.

Today, is your last chance to either – make changes to your team or join the competition by creating a team – before Round 1 closes tonight.

If you do not have a team yet, find your way to AppStore or GooglePlay and download Badminton Manager now.
