The qualification round is close to an end and the first few matches of the main draw’s first round are about to kick off.

The Orléans Masters Badminton 2023 presented by Victor started earlier today with the qualification rounds which are about to come to an end.

In the men’s singles, Frenchmen Alex Lanier and Lucas Claerbout won their opening matches to meet and fight for a spot in the main draw, but who will make it? The match is currently ongoing and you can watch it here.

After a week of good results at the Polish Open, Türkiye’s Neslihan Yigit and France’s Rosy Oktavia Pancasari have also won their first round at the qualification round. Polish Open champions Daniel Lundgaard/ Mads Vestergaard are on the right path to getting more important wins for their recent partnership as they have also qualified for the main draw.

Another European pair, Netherlands’ Kirsten De Wit/ Alyssa Tirtosentono, will be playing again later today, this time in the main draw, after their win against Leona Michalski/ Franziska Volkmann, Germany, in their opening match.
