It’s the fifth day of the 2022 World Junior Championships and teams have been playing since 8:30AM in the semifinals.
England, the winner of Group D played against Chinese Taipei yesterday, which has been winning every match 5-0. The English team lost 3-0 and is playing today for the 5th place, against China.
Spain which has also been on top of its group, lost 3-0 against Korea that is number one in Group E and is going to play versus the USA today at 1:00PM (CET) in the final stage 1 to 8. Denmark, beat Hong Kong China 5-0 and is playing today against Ukraine for the final stage 9-16.
Korea and Japan are also facing each other in the semifinals at 5:00PM (CET). Today Chinese Taipei’s opponent is Indonesia, the winner of yesterday’s match Indonesia/China.
At 8:30AM Norway started playing against Georgia, followed by Iceland against Tahiti. Later in the day, Norway will play again, against Slovakia.
