Once again, stars from all around the world meet in Odense, a city famous for being the birthplace of the world-renowned author H.C. Stars from all over the world will be competing in the BWF World Tour Super 750 event from today, the 18th of October until the 23rd.

The king is ready
Last week, there was uncertainty about whether the reigning champion of the tournament would be able to compete in this year’s edition. However, Viktor Axelsen confirmed yesterday to TV 2 SPORT that he was ready to defend the title in his hometown.

“I have had some match training and I have played some full matches. It has gone quite well so now I will focus on winning some matches. I am really looking forward to fighting and I feel ready”, said Viktor Axelsen.

Unmissable matches
With matches having started already earlier today, we already have some names that will be advancing to the next stage. The 2021 World Champion Loh Kean Yew, Singapore, and European Champions Mark Lamsfuss/ Isabel Lohau are amongs today winner’s, and so are Scotland’s Adam Hall/ Julie Macpherson, and Malaysia’s Pearly Tan/ Thinaah Muralitharan.
